The meeting took place in the presence of the Prime Minister, Mr. Edi Rama, the Ambassador of the ’Lower Countries Kingdom’, Mr. Martin de la Beij, and local and foreign collaborators. The participation of the EPOKA University representatives in the first meeting was of special value, since they are considered potential partners of this initiative. In the end the impressions about Atelier Albania were shared.
The new Albanian government proposes that in careful conjunction with all other policies we adopt to develop the country, under the aegis of the Ministry of Urban Development and Tourism, to deploy an unusual, i.e. a design based method to foster urban development as an incubator for national development. The vehicle for this method is Atelier Albania.
Atelier Albania is a ‘lab unit’ under the framework of National Agency of Territory Planning, which will be focused on the treatment of plans and projects of national importance. Atelier Albania is a new approach created to generate value and potential solutions related to architectural and urban development issues. In this meeting the chance to know the mission, objectives and projects of Atelier Albania was created.
